Becca Bissette has always dreamed of owning her own charming shop, inspired by childhood visits to the Yum Yum Tree in Ohio, a whimsical spot blending greetings and sweets. After marrying David, they combined forces: her passion for sweets and retail flair with his experience building The Grain Mill Co-op and established candy industry connections in central PA. Together, they opened Becca B's Candy & Collectibles in downtown Wake Forest, NC, at 230 S Main St—right next to Holding Park playground, filling the gap left by the beloved Sweeties candy store. This cheerful haven is a treasure trove of nostalgic candies (retro favorites, gummies, and bulk mixes), adorable kawaii collectibles (Hello Kitty, Japanese blind boxes, and whimsical girls' gifts), and vintage gems like Strawberry Shortcake scented characters—all curated to spark joy and childhood memories.
